Established in 1967, Lakeland Community College was the first
college in Ohio founded by a vote of the people. Lakeland is a
two-year public institution of higher education offering associate
degrees, courses transferable to senior institutions for
completion of bachelor’s degrees, certification programs, job
skill and workforce development training, and noncredit continuing
education classes. Introduced in 2011, the Holden University
Center of Lakeland Community College offers convenient access to
complete a bachelor’s or graduate degree from a variety of leading
colleges and universities – right here in Lake County. |
